Art and Design

The UK is a world leader in Art and Design. Our consultant, Richard Adey, has 100% success rate in achieving offers in Schools of Art and Design.  He advises,‘Your portfolio is you, and is the most important part of the application process. Your sketchbooks act as a visual presentation of your thoughts, ideas and sensibilities.’

A large part of his work is therefore to analyse a student’s portfolio in order to define strengths and weaknesses, and to suggest ways to develop both the portfolio and understanding of the chosen subject. Students are encouraged to explore possible pathways, so that a choice of subject can be made in full knowledge of the options available. Students usually book portfolio development with Richard before applying so that they can maximise their chance of receiving offers.

Successful applications include Central St Martin's, University of Creative Arts, Wimbledon School of Art, Marangoni, Parsons New York, Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts, Paris College of Art.

Drama and Music

A career in Drama or Music is exceptionally difficult.
It is usual to apply for a Bachelor’s, but on the understanding that a student will be considered for a place on a foundation year if they are unsuccessful. In addition to research, applicants receive advice on the digital recording of their work and their choice of subject material for auditions and interview.  Music auditions usually take place mid-November to mid-December. Drama auditions take place in March or April. Drama or Music training should be given in the student’s home country.

Successful applications include: READ School of Drama, The Drama Centre, Rose Bruton Drama School, Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts, University of Hertfordshire.
